MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The entire weekend will be colder than average, starting with light-freeze chances for interior sections of north Florida and south Georgia, generally along and west of Interstate 75.  The sky will remain clear and winds will decrease enough to allow for lows in the low to mid 30s.  However, Atlantic moisture will be pushed onshore in northeast Florida, creating layers of cloudiness.  An upper low will quickly swing into the northwestern Gulf Saturday, arriving in the local area late at night through Sunday morning, promoting more cloud cover and scattered sprinkles, primarily for Suwannee River valley counties and points east.  Highs tomorrow will be capped in the 50s.  We're still expecting a series of cold fronts through the middle of next week keeping the cold snap in place and even increasing the chances for more subfreezing mornings, along with chilly afternoon, with patchy cloud cover each day.

A Freeze Warning is in effect early tomorrow morning for many inland counties in the western 2/3rds of the viewing region.
