MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The weekend will feature limited opportunities for showers and storms with an area of high pressure draped over the region and the northern Gulf, which will help promote additional warming and push daytime temperatures closer to 100° in some inland areas. Sunshine will mix in with a few clouds, but the sunlight will be prolonged with the high pressure’s presence and a slight dip in moisture content. However, any isolated shower can developing into a briefly strong storm … the overall chances, though, aren’t very high. The maximum temps will be between 95° and 100° both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Coastal areas will also climb into the lower 90s before the seabreeze starts. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s. Rain chances may increase gradually through next week.
