MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Showers and thunderstorms once again are generated in scattered variety and moving east to northeast this evening. Storms may carry periods of heavy rain, active lightning, and a couple may produce strong wind gusts. Rainy areas will decrease later tonight, with a few showers possible along coastal areas early Saturday morning. There’s no significant change in the pattern for Saturday, so showers and storms should develop rather easily by midday and keep moving in an east-northeast fashion. Lows tonight will fall to around 70°, and Saturday’s highs rebound to around 90°. Early next week, winds will become southeasterly, and the upper sources of disturbed systems should move out, leaving the region with more-typical afternoon and evening variety showers and thunderstorms. The tropical scene remains uneventful through the weekend.
