MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The cloudiness has arrived, and, in some areas, has produced light showers. Temperatures have been held back from warming too quickly, and overnight, readings may be slow to cool. Lows are forecast to reach the upper 40s to around 50°. Showers will remain light through the evening and mainly affecting central and western areas. Saturday will be generally cloudy and cool with highs in the 60s. Shower coverage may favor southwest Georgia and the Panhandle regions. Rain action Sunday will be intermittent, and perhaps focusing on the late-day and nighttime hours as a second disturbance approaches. Another round of showers, and possible storms, will come Monday through Tuesday before gradual clearing occurs on Christmas Eve. Severe weather concerns are minimal, but may be adjusted based on future forecast data over the weekend.
