TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Strong storms are diminishing around the region tonight but we still are seeing some thunderstorms and widespread rainfall. This will last until the late evening hours and then we'll actually dry out overnight and maybe even see some peeks of clear sky. Temps only dipping into the low 60s. Saturday morning though, the cold front moves through bringing with it the potential for more severe weather especially for areas including and east of Tallahassee. High wind gusts and heavy downpours are the main threats with this next wave of active weather. Temps in the afternoon under clearing skies will become seasonal returning to the upper 70s--so a warmer day than Friday for sure. Late Saturday and into Sunday will become breezy as a high pressure system sets up shop. Temps by Sunday morning will be a little cooler down into the upper 40s.
