MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The cold front is on the way, and it will pass through the entire region later tonight. Before then, it's been very warm with sunshine and few clouds. Additional clouds are possible when the front moves through, but north and northeast winds will increase and allow temperatures to fall into the 50s for the overnight lows. The new flow will also break the heat spell, producing highs Saturday in the middle 70s, much closer to seasonal average. Dry air will bring out full sunshine, then some upper clouds will arrive on Sunday to mix in. Readings will remain mild throughout the next several days, as winds become more easterly to keep morning temps from reaching very cold levels, and daytime temps remain near or only slightly above average. Partly cloudy trends are expected for most of next week.
