MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Dry air and high pressure have finally busted the cloud deck out of the area, at least for the time being. The evening hours will be mostly clear, aside from a few upper-level thin clouds streaking through. Temperatures will fall to below-average levels in the morning with a light north wind. Mid 30s are in range, but only a slim chance for a brief frost or light freeze in the coldest inland spots. During the weekend, there will be ample sunshine with intervals of passing clouds, as the flow of air aloft remains active over the Gulf. A minor disturbance may thicken the clouds late Saturday, but not before highs top out in the middle 60s. Only an isolated shower chance exists, mainly along I-75 in north Florida Sunday morning. The Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday looks sunny and cool.
