​Most of the strongest storms today are centered over the central and eastern Panhandle, moving northeast.  Locally, the nearby boundary of unsettled conditions will trigger additional spots of rain and thunder near the central Big Bend region, with isolated activity in the eastern Big Bend and interior south Georgia.  Any storms can cause brief heavy rain and some wind gusts.  Storms will conclude late tonight, leaving scattered clouds and moisture which will keep lows mild around 70°.  A similar pattern will be features Saturday with the highest coverage of rain and thunder in the western half of the region, and more isolated along I-75.  Highs will top out in the upper 80s to lower 90s.  Warmth and occasional afternoon rain and thunder continue Sunday with slightly less overall coverage.
