MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
There are no major changes locally in the weather pattern that would cause a drastic shift in the recent trends. Each day this Memorial Day weekend will feature high amounts of sunshine and low amounts of rain chances. A patch of drier air will remain highly influential over the stateline region, and the only source of showers would be from a combo of afternoon heating, seabreeze boundaries, and faint moisture traveling west from the Atlantic. Lows this weekend will be in the mid to upper 60s, and highs will be in the upper 80s coast to low and mid 90s inland. A tropical depression in the western Atlantic will aim mainly toward the South Carolina coast and is partly responsible for keeping local weather mainly dry and warm. The leftovers from the system may create a better chance for showers and storms, along with a weakening ridging pattern by later in next week.
