MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Milder temperatures will last through early Saturday afternoon, then conditions will turn sharply colder and wintry as a cold front introduces stronger northwest winds into the region, carrying much colder air. As the cold front approaches and passes, we'll have pockets of cloud cover and off-and-on sunshine, then once the winds increase, you'll know the front has gone through. Lows will be around 50°, and highs may reach the mid 70s before readings fall quickly behind the front. Saturday night through Sunday will be blustery with higher winds and lower temperatures (near 40° Sunday morning). Afternoon temps will struggle to reach the 60s in some cases. This will set us up for a frosty series of mornings early next week, with a chance for the season's first freeze in interior locations. A moderating temperature trend is expected in the days leading to Thanksgiving.
