MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Nearby high pressure and its drier air source will cause the few clouds we’ve seen to clear out later this evening, and temps will fall through the 80s and 70s, bottoming out in the mid and upper 60s before sunrise Saturday.  The transition back to a humid, warm scene peppered with afternoon showers and thunderstorms will occur through the weekend, though Saturday will be primarily dry inland, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy trends in the afternoon.  A few showers and storms are possible with the coastal seabreeze.  Highs will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s.  Rain coverage will increase Sunday, with scattered but possibly numerous rainy areas by afternoon.  A new moisture source will support the easier development of patches of rain and thunder for most days next week.
