MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Hot temperatures across the region have been felt today with mid to upper 80s for highs across North Florida and lower to mid 80s in South Georgia. An isolated chance of a shower or storm is possible for the remainder of the night with lows dipping into the lower and mid 60s. This pattern will be similar for Saturday with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies and 30% coverage for showers and storms. Highs at least in the mid 80s for interior sections of North Florida and some parts of South Georgia, with slightly cooler temps at the coast (upper 70s to near 80 degrees). A low pressure system out west will help to influence south winds into the weekend and help to increase cloud cover and rain coverage opportunities for Sunday (60%) into Monday (70%) with storms and heavy rainfall possible. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s Sunday and Monday with lows around 60 degrees. Some clearing will be in play for Tuesday before Gulf flow returns and warms us up once again with isolated showers returning.
