Storm Team Friday evening forecast (07/03/2015)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Isolated showers are possible before we return to a mostly clear sky late tonight with lows falling to the low and mid 70s.  Classic summertime weather will be featured locally for the Fourth of July, with sunshine in the morning, clouds mixing in during the afternoon, abundant moisture and a overall humid feel, and passing, scattered showers and thunder for most of the afternoon and early evening.  The peak coverage of rain will be in the mid-afternoon through sunset, with any leftover pockets of rain diminishing steadily after then.  Highs will be in the low to mid 90s Saturday, with evening temperatures around the lower 80s, depending on the scattered shower pattern.  A disturbance aloft in the Southeast will contribute to higher rain coverage for the start of the new week.
