MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The cold front in the Southeast is producing areas of rain and a few thunderstorms, and the boundary will continue to slide its way closer to the region overnight. Spots of showers and isolated storms are possible along the Flint River zone, where one or two interior south Georgia storms could be briefly strong. Elsewhere, generally cloudy conditions will be present with limited shower activity. Lows will be help up in the upper 60s with the excess clouds and moisture. Only a few short breaks of sun are possible in the morning with the cold front meandering around the state line area all weekend; periods of showers and storms are likely, especially in the afternoon, with highs around 80°. There's not much promise for the front to depart the region through early next week, so more areas of clouds and showers will be in the forecast for the next few days.
