TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Strong storms are possible especially for our south Georgia communities as a cold front rushes in from the mid-South. High winds are the main concern. If storms do turn severe, tune into Ch. 27.3 for live, extended coverage to keep you safe. Temps overnight will be in the mid to upper 70s and conditions will be muggy. Upper 80s are expected tomorrow through the weekend, as the cold front drifts south and east of the region, though the low pressure system, the core of the moisture, will be just off the First Coast, so scattered summery storms are possible in the afternoon, especially for our Florida communities. Father's Day looks much quieter with temps again in the upper 80s and conditions stay mainly dry. Mostly clear skies next week with temps in the upper 80s and low 90s. Another cold front advances by late next week sparking up more scattered storminess for Thursday and Friday. Temps will be back in the low to mid 90s to end the work week.
