Storm Team Friday evening forecast (02/20/2015)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Some of the Arctic air is lingering this evening, but not nearly to the same extent as what was experienced last night.  Lows will reach the mid 30s early in the overnight period, then rise just slightly by dawn as a southeast wind modifies the air.  This will lead to further warming Saturday with a blend of sunshine and clouds.  Highs will reach well into the 60s, with a few locations possibly touching 70° in the southeast Big Bend.  Sunday will be warmer, but with more cloudiness with a chance for late-day showers.  Next week, a swift upper flow will cause a cold front to meander around the region; temperatures will be generally cool with variable cloud cover and occasional shower activity.
