TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - As expected, springtime was a toasty one for sure!
Meteorological spring, which is comprised of March, April and May, was 2.9° above normal. When averaging together all the highs and lows seen over the last three months, we reached a temperature of 70.3°.
Rainfall totals were slightly above average at 14.7" which was 0.67" above the seasonal norm.
Record books go back to the early 1890s for the Tallahassee area.
We're expecting much of the same for meteorological summer (June, July, and August) with above average temps and near normal rainfall.
