A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for part of our viewing area including all counties in South Georgia, and Madison & Hamilton County in North Florida. The watch goes until 7pm EDT. This watch means that conditions are ripe for large hail greater than 1" (quarter size) and high wind gusts exceeding 60 mph.
