(WTXL) — A severe thunderstorm warning has been extended for parts of the Big Bend and South Georgia area.
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee says the warning affects people in Leon, Jefferson, Madison, Taylor and Wakulla counties in Florida as well as Brooks, Grady, and Thomas counties in Georgia.

The warning will be in affect until 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning means severe weather is imminent or occurring, and action should be immediate.
