TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- At this time, there is only one area of interest in the tropics.
There is an area of disturbed weather located about 450 miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. This area currently has very disorganized showers and thunderstorms associated with it. Conditions seem to be favorable for very gradual development in the coming days, with a 40% chance of formation in the next five days. This area of interest will continue to move westward at 10 mph.
