MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tropical Depression Four has formed over the Turks and Caicos and it is expected to turn into Tropical Storm Cristobal very soon. This system will continue to push towards the northwest and turn north, barely hugging the east coast of Florida likely as a hurricane. The system is rather large so Florida residents along the east coast should monitor the storm closely as impacts will be greater for them. There are no direct impacts expected for Tallahassee. Nothing else across the Atlantic is expected to develop in the next 48 hours. We will update you on more as this storm continues to move closer to Florida.
