TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- Invest 99L is currently near the Bahamas and continues to remain disorganized. Upper level winds are expected to hinder development over the next 2-3 days however once this system pushes into the Gulf of Mexico within the next 5 days, it could become more organized. The tropical low will continue to move towards west-northwest.
Tropical storm Gaston will remain a 'fish-storm' and not make any land impacts. It is forecast to intensify to a category 2 hurricane over the next few days before it turns towards the east and pushes further into the Atlantic Basin.
