Currently a tropical wave near the lesser Antilles is bringing heavy rain to portions of the islands. It is moving W/NW at about 15-20 mph. Upper level winds are unfavorable for future development over the next 48 hours. The biggest concern with this system will be heavy rains and gusty winds. As it continues to move W/NW it will bring rain to Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands on Sunday. It isn't expected to affect us locally.
