Saturday evening Storm Team forecast (02/15/2014)

and last updated

If you're an early bird you may have noticed some heavy rain move through early this morning. The rain and clouds cleared quickly and left us with an absolutely gorgeous Saturday.

High pressure is now in control and will sink south tonight. This will force winds to become calm which will result in strong radiational cooling. Temperatures overnight will fall to right near the freezing mark. Patchy frost is likely across the area, but will melt quickly tomorrow.

Bright sunshine continues for Sunday with temperatures slightly warmer than today, in the upper 60s. The real warm up starts on Monday as temperatures head into the 70s. By Thursday some areas could warm up into the 80s. More good news is that the showers and storms stay away until the end of the week.

Enjoy this very "springy" forecast!
