Saturday Evening Storm Team forecast (02/22/2014)

and last updated

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine today, because the showers are back tomorrow!

Tonight temperatures will be mild and bottom out near 50 degrees. Skies will be mostly cloudy and patchy fog will start to develop after 1:00 am.

Tomorrow temperatures will remain mild, warming up into the lower-mid 70s. The cold front that brought us the rain and thunderstorms Friday morning will lift back to the north tomorrow and stall out right across the Florida panhandle. Rain will start to enter the region from west to east on Sunday morning with widespread rain in the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible along with slow moving storms which will cause locally heavy rainfall and ponding on the road ways.

The unsettled weather sticks around through Wednesday once a stronger cold front moves through and dissipates the previous frontal system. The end of the week is looking cooler and drier.
