TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- An upper level ridge continues to sit over the southeast, limiting the chances of rain for the weekend. This ridge is expected to slowly move eastward as an upper level trough moves into the area. This trough will increase our rain chance toward the middle of the week.
Tonight, expect seasonal lows, near 73 degrees, with mainly clear skies. Winds are expected to be calm through the night.
Sunday should be a relatively nice day. Mainly sunny conditions with some passing clouds. There is a 20 percent chance of rain and non-severe thunderstorms in the afternoon, though most of us will stay dry. Daytime highs reach the low 90s. Sunday night lows fall back to the lower 70s with a gradually clearing sky.
