TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A cold front is slowly nearing the area keeping our cloudy skies on hand. This front will bring us rain as we finish this weekend, though the cooler temperatures are expected to arrive by Christmas.
Tonight, scattered rain showers are possible, mainly for the western half of the viewing area. Otherwise, we'll see cloudy skies and lows in the lower 60s. Winds will remain from the south southwest at about 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday, the scattered rain slowly shifts eastward as the front moves away, with rain chances dropping off through the day. Our sky conditions will gradually clear throughout Sunday with a light west wind, about 5 to 10 mph. Sunday highs heat to the lower 70s with overnight lows falling into the 40s under mostly clear skies.
