TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- An area of high pressure, sitting over North Carolina and Virginia, will continue to bring in winds from the east. Rain will likely be spotty for the rest of the weekend because of this. Moving into the new work week, drier air may help lower rain chances briefly.
Tonight, a few clouds linger through the area with lows falling to the lower 70s. Winds will be calm with rain chances falling off after sunset.
Sunday will be similar to Saturday in terms of weather. We'll start the day with a few clouds, and have partly cloudy conditions by the afternoon. Rain chances also peak in the afternoon and evening hours. There is a 40 percent chance of showers and non-severe thunderstorms. Sunday's highs heat near 90 degrees while lows fall back to the lower 70s.
