TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- The high pressure that's been sitting right on the coast of the Carolinas continues to remain in place through the rest of the weekend. This means that scattered rain and thunderstorms will be possible Sunday and Monday afternoons.
Tonight, our skies will gradually clear with lows falling to the lower 70s. Winds will be light from the east, 5 mph. Rain is not expected through the night.
Sunday will be a partly cloudy day with a 40 percent chance of rain in the afternoon and evening hours. Severe weather is not anticipated, though some storms could become stronger than others. Highs heat to the upper 80s and low 90s, once again. Winds remain east to southeasterly, 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday night will be similar to tonight... clearing conditions, a light wind, and lows in the lower 70s.
