TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Last night a heavy band of storms associated with a cold front moved through the region. There were numerous amounts of local storm reports overnight like downed trees and other debris on the roadways. There was on report of a tree that fell on a power line and caused a fire at Thorton road and Mahan drive earlier this morning, but it has been taken care of since and all roadways are clear of major debris. The storms have moved well out of the area now leaving behind cooler and sunnier conditions to start off the weekend.
