NWS- Tallahassee: Sunday's Tornado Watch expires

Jan 25; 7 p.m.

The Tornado Watch has expired for all counties. The line of storms is continuing to move through southeastern counties, but the severity level has decreased.

Jan 25; 5:40 p.m.

The Tornado Watch has been canceled for a majority of counties. The Watch continues for Grady, Colquitt, and Tift counties as storms continue to push through.

12:00 p.m.;

The National Weather Service- Tallahassee has issued a tornado watch for SE AL, FL Panhandle, and much of Southwest Georgia until 6:00 p.m. CST/7:00 p.m. EST.

FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN OUR AREA LISTED BELOW:

  • Seminole
  • Miller
  • Decatur
  • Baker
  • Mitchell
  • Grady
  • Colquitt

NWS- Tallahassee says trends will be monitored for any adjustments.

A line of rain and thunderstorms is forecast to enter the region from west to east during the course of the afternoon and early evening. Gusty thunderstorms are possible within the line, and the most intense sections can create conditions favorable for a few spin-up tornadoes, primarily in the tri-state and southwestern Georgia sections.
