Power outages, downed trees, powerlines reported in Crawfordville

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — There are reports of power outages, downed trees and power lines in Crawfordville as storms roll through the area.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Wakulla County until 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Per a dispatch center in Crawfordville, NWS is reporting downed trees and power lines in the area though we haven't received any specific locations yet. Storms are starting to move out of the area, though you should be cautious and stay indoors if possible.

According to Duke Energy, there are around 1,000 outages in the Crawfordville area. You can view the latest Duke Energy outages here.

Talquin is also reporting 2,400 outages just west of Crawfordville, near the Apalachicola National Forest. You can view the latest Talquin Electric Cooperative outages here.
