TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Did you think November in Tallahassee felt a bit colder than usual? Your senses weren't fooling you.
According to data released by the Tallahassee branch of the National Weather Service, the average high temperature as recorded at Tallahassee Regional Airport was 68.8°, more than four degrees below the average high for the month. The November 2014 average low of 39.7° was nearly eight degrees below the monthly average.
While the all-time record lows and highs remain intact, the low plunged to 22° on Nov. 19, making it the coldest reading of the month. Warm days were hard to come by, with 82° on Nov. 5 being the highest temp recorded.
Only five days in the month featured measurable rainfall, but a couple days of heavy rain swelled the rain gauge to 6.92". With November being a typically drier month, the Nov. 2014 accumulation measured almost three and a half inches above average.
