There isn’t much left of the cooler air mass that greeted us earlier this week. Strong May sunshine has modified the atmosphere and is allowing for rapid warming, which should prevent record lows from occurring anymore in the foreseeable future. While we lose the chill, we won’t necessarily gain much adverse weather, either; with high pressure nearby, we’ll stay stable with the only chance for rain coming from an ever-so-isolated late-day shower or brief storm. Lows will be near average in the upper 50s to around 60° Thursday morning, with afternoon reading peaking in the upper 80s. Humidity values will stay on the low side. We’ll dance around the 90° mark by the weekend with partial cloudiness and continued low shower chances.
