We’ll lean toward a warmer, more humid, and perhaps cloudier pattern in the next couple of days. Our current high-pressure area will slide further east Thursday in advance of a cold front entering from the west. These features are moving rather slowly, so the changes won’t be rapid. However, additional clouds are going to mix with the sun Halloween afternoon. For now, trick-or-treating looks to be mild with scattered cloudiness, but rain is unlikely. Lows tonight will hover around 60° with some upper and mid 50s in the interior, and highs climb back toward the upper 70s at the coast to mid 80s inland. Friday will feature the cold front throwing areas of rain and thunderstorms into the region by late-afternoon, lasting through most of Saturday morning.
