The moisture interacting with a relatively cool atmosphere has kept sunshine limited today, but temperatures have still managed to approach seasonable levels with a general absence of rain. Occasional spots of light showers may occur near the eastern Big Bend coast, but overall rain potential will stay low tonight. Pockets of cloudiness will linger, as lows will fall into the mid and lower 50s. A few more breaks of sunshine Thursday will allow more warming into the 70s, but the east wind and the available Atlantic moisture will still cause a 20% coverage of showers for the day. We’ll remain mild to warm through the beginning of the weekend before a cold front advances into the region, producing only a slight chance for showers.
