MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
More of us surged into the 80° range with a good deal of sun and a supportive southwesterly flow. Winds may shift a bit Thursday, and we’ll still have clouds mixing in with the sun, but another warmer-than-average day is forecast. Tonight, lows will fall to around 50° depending on cloud coverage and fog development; patchy fog may create low visibilities. Tomorrow, areas away from the coast will easily reach the mid to upper 70s, and some lower and mid 80s can’t be ruled out for interior south Georgia or inland north-central Florida. A cold front arrives Friday morning, carrying showers and a few thunderstorms with occasional wind gusts. The front may stall just to the south of the region through the weekend, keeping lesser rain chances in place for the area.
