Storm Team Wednesday evening forecast (10/02/2013)

Posted

A dry trend area-wide stretches into tonight and Thursday ... then the outlook gets more unsettled, and more tricky, heading into the weekend.  For the time being, upper-level cloudiness produced by shower and storm formation to the west will linger through the evening, but it's highly unlikely that we'll get into any storminess locally.  Lows will fall into the lower 60s far north to around 70° coast.  Thursday, a series of high-pressure systems will keep the region generally dry and warm, with highs in the mid and upper 80s with only the slightest chance for a stray shower.  Friday, tropical moisture (perhaps associated with a developing tropical depression) will stream northward, perhaps setting the stage for a wetter weekend.  Please see the wtxl.tv Hurricane Center for more details later this afternoon.
