Storm Team Wednesday evening forecast (01/23/2013)

Posted

A cool area of high pressure is lingering in the region, but with patches of low-level moisture and scattered clouds, plus winds becoming more westerly, it's highly doubtful we'll be able to reach the chilly levels that were experienced this morning.  Forecast lows should fall into the upper 30s and lower 40s.  A clearer sky is expected for eastern counties, with only a few clouds from time to time around the tri-state area.  A weak front will swing through during the course of Thursday with little to no noticeable impacts on the local weather pattern.  Highs will rebound to the lower 70s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy periods.  A minor rain chance will approach with a second cold front Saturday morning, which will also renew the chilly air for parts of the upcoming weekend.
