Storm Team Tuesday Morning Forecast (12/11/2012)

and last updated

Even though the cold front passed to central Florida we still have a bit of energy sitting over the Gulf which will allow for scattered showers and lots of clouds today. The overcast skies and scattered rain will moderate temperatures all day. Today is the first time in twelve days that our afternoon temperatures will not be at or above average. In fact, most of the area will sit in the low 60s.  Conditions overnight only fall to the upper 40s.  Tomorrow will be slightly cooler than today with some places not even reaching the 60 degree mark! Scattered showers will keep umbrellas busy through late Wednesday. By Thursday, we finally see some sunshine again, though cool conditions persist and we will stay in the low 60s. For Friday and your weekend, we are back to near or above normal conditions with a slight chance of rain Saturday and Sunday.  Monday we see a bit more clearing with temperatures in the upper 60s.
