MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
An unseasonably cold night is ahead with a clear sky, decreasing wind, and falling temperatures after dusk. Despite reaching 70° in some areas today, the north breeze has carried the colder air source into the region and will allow readings to fall well into the 30s overnight. Lows around sunrise will be in the low 30s inland to upper 30s at the coast. We’ll have a light breeze overnight, so frost should only be patchy … but temperatures may dip to freezing for a couple of hours, so a freeze warning is in effect for all south Georgia counties. The cold air mass will linger through tomorrow, limiting highs to the low to mid 60s. Winds will shift and introduce a warming trend with increasing cloudiness Thursday, leading to renewed rain chances Friday and Saturday.
