The weather pattern will undergo a slow transition between the cooler, seasonable conditions of the recent past to the warmer, partly cloudy trend in the next couple of days. A high pressure system over the Gulf to prevent new cool air surges from entering the region, while a more southerly wind flow will force extra moisture into the area. By Friday, the high will weaken and yield to an advancing cold front, spreading clouds and rain opportunities our way for the beginning of the weekend. Until then, we’ll stay dry; few clouds overnight with lows in the low and mid 50s, and highs tomorrow climbing into the low to mid 80s with sunshine and passing clouds, filtering the sunlight at times.
