Heavy rain and thunderstorms have only impacted a select few spots of the region, namely the western counties of the Big Bend. Still, the chance for some Atlantic seabreeze showers entering the eastern counties later this evening remains in the forecast. With ample moisture levels, more downpours are certainly possible. Frequent lightning may occur, but only an isolated storm or two will be capable of causing severe weather concerns. Wednesday, conditions return to a more-typical pattern of afternoon scattered showers and storms as the stationary front over the Deep South further weakens. Lows tonight will be in the low and mid 70s, and highs Wednesday will return to the lower 90s.
