MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A stalled frontal system over the GulfCoast region will become active with a stronger front approaching from the west. These features will generate additional cloudiness later tonight across the area, with developing showers and rain soon to follow. While thunderstorms will be limited in number and strength, rain activity can be heavy at times, with some totals exceeding one inch over the next 36 hours. Obviously colder air will keep morning temperatures in the 50s and prevent readings from rising during most of the day as northwest and north winds increase. The front will gradually move south by early Thursday, creating a clearing trend while temperatures stay below average. A light freeze is possible Friday morning before we get a rebound in temperatures; 70s are set to return over the weekend with ample sunshine.
