We're still under the influences of a modest upper high preesure system, helping to keep a limited on shower and storm activity this evening. Some of the present spotty showers may cause wind flows that clash with east-coast seabreeze-related storms, which could give new storms prolonged life after sunset. Overnight, breaks in the clouds will be present as lows drop to the low and mid 70s. An upper disturbance will break down the edge of the high, allowing for better coverage of afternoon and evening showers and storms. Highs should reach the lower 90s before rain develops. We'll be unsettled through Thursday before a period of average daytime rain activity returns by the weekend.
