Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (08/06/2013)

Shower development is still limited and isolated late today.  The best opportunity to get in on a passing shower will be in the eastern counties, where the atmosphere is slightly more primed for these spotty showers and thunderstorms that will generally move south.  Otherwise, another steamy evening and overnight time frame is ahead with lows struggling to reach the middle 70s by sunrise.  We'll still have some influences of upper-level high pressure to the west of the region, close enough to suppress the typical late-day thunderstorm activity.  It'll be hot enough to cause a few of them to pop up in the afternoon.  Highs will climb again into the middle 90s.
