Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (04/16/2013)

Posted

As upper-level high pressure builds just to the south of our region, we will maintain a warm, slightly humid weather pattern featuring spots of morning fog, scattered afternoon clouds, and a limited chance for a brief shower or storm induced by daytime heating.  Lows tonight will feel a little balmy, in the low and mid 60s, with areas of clear sky outside of developing fog pockets.  Highs Wednesday will climb back into the middle 80s; a few inland locations may reach the upper 80s.  Coastal zones will stay closer to 80 degrees with the onshore breeze.  No organized rain and storm action is anticipated until Friday when a stronger front approaches, allowing cooler air to follow.
