A wide swath of light rain is encompassing most of the viewing region late in the afternoon, but the entire mass is slowly shifting more to the east and southeast. The process is slow, but these showers will conclude by later tonight through early Friday, and a gradual clearing trend will occur. The decrease in clouds will be more evident in south Georgia, where there's a better chance in the interior for more cooling as a result. Clouds may linger across coastal and southeast zones overnight with a few more sprinkles. We'll get more breaks of sun Friday in most areas away from the coast with highs reaching the lower 60s. Tonight, lows will fall to near 30 degrees far north to lower 40s south and coast.
