The chill from this morning won’t repeat itself later tonight, thanks to the current east wind flow, a slight increase in moisture, and more clouds moving our way from the Gulf through tomorrow morning. Rain isn’t likely tonight, but lows will be a good 10 degrees or more above last night’s figures, bottoming out in the lower 50s and upper 40s. Sunshine will become more limited Friday with a low-pressure system generating in the central Gulf and moving mainly northeast. We’ll be on the northern side of the non-tropical system, giving southern counties a higher chance for passing showers than northern areas. Highs will try to move to the 70°, but may be stalled by an overall lack on warming sun. Over the weekend, a brief influence of upper high pressure will support warmer conditions, but scattered cloudiness will remain, along with a slight chance for a shower or two.
