MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A modest cold front will depart the area this evening.  It has helped to scatter some fair-weather clouds across the area, enhanced a bit by the natural heating of the day.  Showers are very unlikely, and the sky will return to a clear status overnight with low temperatures falling to the low and mid 40s, near or a bit below average.  Abundant sunshine is anticipated for Friday as temps climb well into the 70s.  Winds will be generally light tonight, shifting southeast by late tomorrow.  The southerly flow will introduce more moisture over the weekend, and a frontal boundary and individual disturbances will increase rain opportunities for early next week.  Indications show a decent cool-down toward the middle of next week … so we’re not done with cold snaps despite being officially in springtime!
